The Validation Plugin

This extension works with GLPI version 0.70 or later

It allows you to validate helpdesk tickets requesting intervention.

After decompressing the archive into the plugin folder of GLPI, log on as administrator:

Menu: Configuration / Plugins / Validation / Installation

This will create the tables used by the extension

Version 0.72:

Menu: Administration / Profiles / Validation tab

Version 0.71:

Menu: Configuration / Plugins / Validation / Manage Profiles

This step allows you to define user profiles that can use the extension.


From incident tracking, click on a ticket. The plugin will start the validation. The user must choose from the dropdown list. The user must validate the procedure. We can also edit a comment. Then click on OK. If the validation request has been taken into account, we added the application in the window of the ticket followed the summary of the application.

User Email Addresses

It is imperative that users have a valid email address. A validation request is emailed to the user selected in the validation request. When the user receives a validation request email, they log in to GLPI. In plugin > validation they will see all requests awaiting validation. The user will have the choice to accept or reject the validation request.
